My name is Malcolm and I live in North Nottinghamshire, my current project is to put my 4.6 GEMS engine into my MGBGT.
I'm looking for a bit of advice, I acquired an SD1 gearbox and LT77 gearbox from a TVR and have been taking a lot of measurements to ensure the flywheel on my engine will fit properly with the clutch and gearbox.
With the clutch release bearing face fully retracted there is 15mm between it and the pressure plate mating surface, is this ok? I'm not familiar with how far the hydraulic slave will adjust it before sitting in a normal position for use. Any insight would be helpful please.
