Yank V8 Engine number

Need some help to identified a V8 Yank motor my mate has just imported.

Sitting in a really nice 48 Ford Pick up.

Been told it's all 305 Camaro running gear.

Stumped as to what year the engine and running gear is,
Ex owner unsure.

Need to order a service kit and other part's.

Any way number's are
