Apparently unlike the Edelbrock, the Buick and Offenhauser manifolds have holes behind the thermostat but I've searched on here and on the internet after reading somewhere that you should drill these holes in the Edelbrock too and aren't any the wiser as to whether it needs doing, or if it's not going to hurt or if it's a waste of time.
The last posts here on this were years ago so I'm wondering what the current thinking is?
