I bought my 4.6 gems V8 engine without oil dipstick and tube and i must buy them, as i understood:
Engine equipped with secondary air injection Needs LQM100920 -715 mm lenght dipstick coupled to LQN101150 tube;
Engine without SAI Needs err4905 - 655mm lenght dipstick coupled to LQN101060 tube.
Which One i Need?

Look at your engine... does it have SAI fitted to it, or WILL it have it fitted when you are done with it?nismoit wrote: Tue Jul 21, 2020 8:45 pm I bought my 4.6 gems V8 engine without oil dipstick and tube and i must buy them, as i understood:

It shouldn't really matter, as long as you have the correct pair of tube and dipstick. The longer/different one is simply to get around the additional hardware on the engine versus more direct without the hardware.nismoit wrote: Thu Jul 23, 2020 12:25 pm Many thanks, without doubt It hasn't secondary air injection, so i Need short dipstick!

There's also a variant for low emission zones in the US - which somehow I received!
These are basically calibrated with a lower oil level!
