Poxy weather.

how has every one else bared up?
we have had it bad in west berkshire,
even the poor capri is water logged in the garage

i live 15mins from work, took me 3.5 hrs to get home today

we live in a first floor flat, and when i finally got home i was greeted with a flooded hall way as i opened the front door

yes we did mate,
we are still on flood alert in the area with more rain forcast this weekend,
i may have to move the capri to my parents if the flood risk gets up again.

Just continually wet here (Cambs) no flooding yet fingers x'd, though the whole area was hit very bad a few yrs ago. There's a stream at the end of the gdn, hope it says there...
Hoped the rain would wash some of the crap out the air to make it easier to spray, but not really made a difference today.

Spent all year sealing up the leaks, replacing gutter, cladding, etc in my workshop. And the roof. Get home today and an inch of water has come in under the door

Is drizzling up here in Durham. At the family home in lincolnshire I know they have had floods again. The other week it was about 4ft deep in the village and was lapping up on the pub door. Fortunately it didn't flood the pub. Its the same now aswell. Our bit shouldnt flood because we live on a hill. My MG sunroof is letting water in though when it's really raining heavy.

I have never heard that expression before

Newbury was rather entertaining yesterday. Went out lunchtime for Chips and drove through 3 flooded roads. Rather worrying as we were about the highest point in Newbury. In the end I stayed at work until 6 catching up on work, headed south to Basingstoke and it only took 15 mins longer than usual on a friday. Others were not so lucky

Err, 32 degree's blue skies and not seen a drop of rain for 3 months. I hadn't realized how bad it had been for the past couple of months, at least you haven't lost your car because the heavens dropped 5 ft of snow over night. I had to leave my baby out all winter, I didn't see it again untill april.

How are you guys holding up now.
Its all over the news overhere in Holland, lots of flooding, people evacuated, no water, no electrics....

Next week I planned a short vacation to England with the Capri.
Plans are to stay at a campsite near Banbury for about a week.
Might be better taking our F250 with us instead of the Capri I'll guess.

Good luck with the situation overthere.

Hope no-one on here's lost their pride & joy. Some parts are a right f*cking mess. Flood warnings are out for a few miles up the road, fingers x'd it doesn't come this way. Getting ready to move my stuff into the loft spaces or as high up as poss...

Noooooooo! Don't do the sensible thing and move stuff upstairs. Do what I have seen people doing on the telly and try to sweep the water away. That will work. When it gets to 4 ft deep, get a friend to help you sweep it.

Anyone at risk of getting flooded, can't you go and move your cars elsewhere?

£50 says there is still a hose pipe ban when/if summer actually starts.

well they cancelled half of Wakestock this weekend which was a bit poop.

Work wise have been waiting for months and months to get 3 days of dry weather so I can get some of my catchments signed off with the EA. Bloody mother nature!
