Magnecor coil lead

Stupid question really.

I have just noticed that my coil lead has been rubbing on my rad hose and has worn into the insulator. There is a black dot in the middle of the wear mark so I assume this is where its worn through to the core is it?

Everything running fine not arcing to anything, I wrapped some insulating tape around it to help stop it wearing anymore, its all ive got with me at uni.

I aint forking out for a new set of leads just for that at the moment because im currently destitute, will it be ok ish....

Has any one got a spare magnecor coil lead that I could send em a few quid for, probably not.
