I,ve gone through the forum to try and solve this wiring problem, cant find an answer and hope someone out there can. I have a 29 model A with rover v8 and i want to swap the Opus dizzy for a dm8.I have a new 12v coil and a intermotor amp and need a wiring diagram. there are 2 black wires coming out...

Wifes going to divorce me with the amount of time and bids I,m putting in.
Ebays ok, but I,d trust someone off here rather than ebay if they said it was ok.

so 4 barrel is the way to go.

Well done guys( and girls) last reply re vent pipe lead me to a kinked pipe that had been ramed down a hole in the inner wing, heads reskimmed, new oilrings fitted for nothing!!!!! thanks again and now its time to sort our rv8 dragster out! Carb knackered1 anyone got a holley for sale that they know...

just to confirm these coments, I was having smoke problems, see'lots of smoke thread' and it turned out to be a kinked breathewr pipe that someone had forced down by the inner wing. I,ve not run a rv8 before, so after a £600 rebuild bill and still no better, it was only due to the guys on this forum...

Thanks again for the replys, the crank I,m refering to the alternator belt was the later flat belt but according to the engine no its a 1994 r/rover 3.9
block.

BACK AGAIN!, drawn a blank with the smoking engine, so about to re-build one. Is there a differance between a early 3.9 crank and a 'serpentine' crank, or am i barking up the wrong drain pipe!

thanks, everyone, comp test between 165 175, all valve stem oil seals changed on first head removal. Someone has suggested using 20/50 oil, but why should it have started after 2or 300 miles? will double check your ideas sat morning before taking engine out again!!!!!!! thanks again, Tony. ps as any...
