Right Guys ive got a good spark but i have no petrol getting into the chambers.

Ive checked all this out .. Sticky: Rover V8 Hotwire Efi Wiring Details
The problem is my loom is custom made hence i dont have the wire colours.

Brown wire goes to battery live +,

Anyone know how i can identify this wire?? what number is is on the ecu plug??

White goes to Ignition switch live (ONLY live when in run position),

Again anyone know how i can identify this wire, what number is it

Purple/white is + feed to fuel pump,

This is all sorted and the pump is running fine.

ALSO if using a manual gearbox you will need to earth the orange/brown wire via a 510 ohm resistor,

I have a resistor in the line but i think its a low wattage one, its only small. I brought a bigger one aswell i think it was a 2 watt one... anyone know which one i need ???

I am stupped now i really dont know what to do or how to test where it might be wrong.

Any help and i will love you forever ... im supposed to be racing in wales next weekend !!!

Cheers Slatter

looks like the battery wire (brown) goes to pin 15

White goes to Ignition switch live (ONLY live when in run position),

this wire goes from white to white and slate and goes to pin 19 it looks like

Purple/white is + feed to fuel pump,

This is all sorted and the pump is running fine.
if you have not got the battery wire conected to the ecu how is the pump working? the pump should be powered from the ecu fuel pump relay not a seperate power feed

ALSO if using a manual gearbox you will need to earth the orange/brown wire via a 510 ohm resistor,

think mine was a small resisitor also

I am stupped now i really dont know what to do or how to test where it might be wrong.
have you got the small black inline resisitor fitted on the coil trigger wire to ecu,???
have you a tune resistor fitted to the loom??? will be two green or white wires with a resistor between the two wires.
