Would I be able to slap the heads/EFi off a 4.6 straight onto this to get it up and running?

Do you think it's worth the cashola?

You could probably stick the heads on and it would be fine if you use composite gaskets, the CR may go too high with tin gaskets. I guess it depends on how much has been skimmed of the decks.

All the gumph about 250 BHP is totally meaning less as the BHP is basically made by the heads and the cam, neither of which included! (OK the bottom end is important but you know what I mean)

Whether it's worth it, dunno, I wonder how how much a complete 3.9 lump would go for?

I suppose the value is in the oil ways and the lightening/balencing, I just don't know how much it's actually worth without the heads/cam?

A good 3.9 is about 500 on ebay?

I agree, the balancing has got to be worth a few quid. The "oilways" are just two holes drilled into the block from the valley area to the front of the block where the timing chain runs.

I recognise the name of the chap that is selling the block, he is a decent bloke so there won't be any nasty surprises with it! :D
