how to identify sdi v8 b/housing

hi, how do i tell the diff between a v8 b/housing + a 6 cyl b/housing as i am buying a g/box but not sure its a v8 b/housing fitted to box cheers.
After a few seconds on google this one came up which is a 2wd RV8 to LT77 bellhousing http://www.v8project.co.uk/The%20Build/ ... ousing.JPG
Its pretty plain apart from the 2 ribs on the top which you cant miss.
