Emergency - Need a Reverse Gear LT77

Post by Simeon »

Hi All
I am desperate to find a reverse gear for a D suffix LT77. The gearbox is from a Rover 3.5 SDI and the gear has the copper coloured centre bush rather than the needle bearing.

I can't seem to find one anywhere, can anybody help or know somebody that can?

Thanks :(

Thanks for your reply bones

Had already given Ashcroft a ring and was surprised at their lack of help. It was 'Can't help without the part number mate' kind of attitude.

however Alders were great and after being passed from Alders to Steve in Kent and then onto John in E Sussex have managed to find one. This just goes to prove that all best resources are not necessarily online.

Thanks again.

I've had less than satisfactory service from Ashcrofts too....... Trying to buy a recon box from them. Gave up and rebuilt it myself in the end.
