My 1972 Manta V8

Hi, Here are some pics of my '72 Manta. I have fitted a Rover 3.9 with "V8 developments" stage 3 heads, Piper Stealth cam and Crane high rev lifters.
Carb is a Webber 500, Edelbrock proformer inlet manifold, custom made headers with Ceramic coating by Camcoat of Warrington.
The gearbox is a Getrag 265 5 speed manual. Rear axle is Opel commodore GS/E with LSD, narrowed with new half shafts by Strange engineering USA.
Brakes are Wilwood 4 pot front and V'hall Senator discs and calipers at the rear. Best 1/4 mile to date 13.7 seconds.

Hi, thanks for the welcome. Now sorted why my pics weren't showing... had the BB codes disabled oops!
Here are some photos of my latest mod. The rear lights are from a Lotus Elise. LEDs for the stop, tail and rear fog.bulbs for reverse and indcators.
I used the Manta housings with the bulb holders removed and some mods to the rear of the housings.

Hi Ged, I bought the car in 1997 took a couple of years to sort the rust out before the conversion work started. It went on the road in May 2002, however there has been many changes since then. I dont think it will ever be finished!

Wicked. I doff my hat sir. How much does the car weigh? Will you divulge how much horsepower and torque your set up provides?
When I was a kid a chap in the neighbourhood had a high-rise supercharged NOS injected 3.5l RV8 powered black and flamed Manta A on Centrelines, used to scare the bejeezus out of me on London's North Circular, think he made high 11 second Quarters at Santa Pod. Here's a pic from back in the day.
Prefer your rather more subtle car though mate!

WOW...... thats a monster (as the actress said to bishop) haven't seen that one before,very quick too! Cool paint job, however the high rider style...... would have been a good choice back then 70s??? but today...maybe not.
I don't have any data on power or torque yet. Hoping to get it April and will post when available. Thanks everybody for the comments.

I've just been looking at the photos again. Youre attention to detail is spot on.
