Refurb / Rebuild flapper injectors.

I have pretty much nailed my lumpy starting/running down to the injectors. Is it possible to get these refurbished or does anyone sell refurbished ones?
IIRC I saw an article about rebuilding them a while ago but don't seem to be able to find it now. I could give it a go myself!!
Help appreciated.

It is possible to test them yourself (with a bit of faffing about).
I have only done it with flapper injectors mind you.
I hooked up a mini fuel rail, with one injector connection, the pressure regulator and a fuel pump drawing from a mower petrol can.
I wired the injector to a battery VIA THE RESISTOR PACK!. If you omit the resistor pack, you will toast the injectors! (I'm not sure what you do with Hotwire in this case)
Basically, with the fuel rail pressurised and no power on the injector, it shouldn't drip at all. With the injector on, you should get a nice spray pattern, rather than a dribble.
Of course note that a petrol mist is highly explosive, so be careful with those electrical contacts sparking!!!

hiya,
Tested my flapper ones a while ago now by firing them over 1 min and testing the CC amount they outputted.
Main thing is if some are leaking.
Got them refurbed anyway, with new filters and pintle caps and new injector seals all for £120, at a local garage using a asnu machine.
Results were better after, but still not the answer i as looking for, so i converted to hotwire EFI....and that was the answer....now fitting a 4.6 for more power.
