hiya all,

Anyone using a defender clutch in a tuned v8.

I've heard that you can use a heavy duty defender 300tdi clutch cover & plate, but you might need to mod the flywheel.

The overhaul manual and say that the plate is 235mm..and i presume the cover is a standard 9.5ins...instead of the range rover 10.5ins.

As i would need to to fit inside a 2wd bellhousing.

Anyone know what power this clutch would take...

cheers

hiya all,

Rpi are selling these via ebay as FTC2149 covers.

They say the will take 285bhp or 350 torque.

Anyone using one care to comment before i waste my money.

Or does anyone know the clamping load for these covers.

cheers
