my oil presure switch is rather in the way, part of the subframe is comign directly flat against the connector and will clash by about 20mm,

the bolt tot he left of it is not another take off is it? or are there any other locations i could put it?

my current options are either have a bit of copper pipe coming out and bend it round and have the switch on the end of the copper pipe, or fit one of they remote oil filter housing plates for £90 or so.

any ideas?

Ralph,

The bolt to the left is another take-off and you can use this. They are both 1/2" UNF. I had the same issue with my DAX Rush fitting the oil pressure sender unit and pressure warning light sensors which I swapped around to avoind the steering column:

the oil presure switch is 1/2 unf??? was guessing it would be 1/4npt or something?

so i can just swap that blank for the presure switch directly?

There's more than one thread used over the years.. But yes, the two ports are connected inside the pump.

You might be able to swap the plug over. As Chris states, the thread sizes have varied. Certainly on mine they are both 1/2" UNF. There's only one way to find out...
