Flywheel - too light?

Finally getting last bits on 4.2 Rover, and wondering about flywheels. Have trawled archives and as always different opinions - that's what makes it fun I guess. Engine pretty straight forward, 500 Weber, Crower 50230 cam from V8 devs etc. I have aquired a lightened/ balanced flywheel that weighs in at 10.7 Kgs. is it worth fitting? Engine going in a Hawk289 rep. rarely go past 5000 rpm.

That's not too light at all, fit it.

Second that, at 23lbs it will be fine, just check the surface for hairline cracks, and if not sure get it checked by an engineering firm.

mgbloke,
24th March is Classic Saloon Race Meeting, thats the target, and hopefully have engine run in for that Action Day! Probably need to upgrade brakes first - they're standard MGB at the mo!
