spark plug leads

Hi,Im using block hugger headers on my chevy v8 powered capri, Ive used shorty style plugs,the plug boots are still very close to headers are these going to burn,what else can i do?

What about using exhaust wrap?

With good quality leads....as long as there ia bout a 10mm air gap, you should be fine.
sometimes wrapping the leads in insulation can make them worse, as they retain any heat....and melt.

The boots are about 1/4 inch away from some of the pipes! good idea about exhaust wrap it may do it,never used it before!
