Fuel line sizes?

My westy has 6mm i.d. fuel lines, one for supply and the other for return. Running a 4.6 stage III heads Piper 285, etc, expecting 280BHP. I have a bosch 044 fuel pump and this is whats begging the question as its inlet is 18mm and outlet 12mm.
So are 6mm lines okay. If is not a big problem I will leave until real tuning begins after the SVA!

make the entry into the pump as big as possible, but i seem to recall the outlet on the bottom of the westy tank isn't that big.

I haven;t measured that yet but I was thinking that would be smaller than 12mm anyway.

I just bought a bosch 044 and had to buy new unions to match my fuel lines.
I bought 12mm inlet and 8mm outlet.

I have -6AN lines on my Griff (and 044 pump as well). They seem to work.
I don't remember exactly what the ID is in mm. Something like 7 or 8mm.

-6 is 6/16ths, so that equates to 3/8th,
I run 6mm feed and and the cortina fuel return which is probably not much more than 5mm, this should support an easy 300hp
