Hi,not having much luck at moment,plumbed in a carter electric fuel pump,wired it up, made a fairly load screeching noise,only tried it for 3 seconds dry,will this go away with fuel or is it broke,cheers dave

I have a Carter fuel pump, Makes the same noise as yours does though more of a buzzing than a screech, but yes it is loud. When fuel gets to it, you will hear a change in the noise as it gurgles the fuel up, but will still be noisy.

Doesn't matter, once the V8 fires up who cares
