Hi, can someone advise me on what fuel pump setup I will need when fitting a supercharger,ie how do you vary the fuel pressure to cope with the air pressure , is there any good books?any info appreciated. regards David.

What engine etc?

Are you running EFI or carbs?

If the former, get an EFI fuel pump and a fuel pressure regulator. If its e.g. a Rover V8 with Hotwire injection, the standard pressure regulator is situated at the end of the fuel rail; connect the vaccuum connection to the plenum.

there ar a few good books but I dont know what they are, I'm sure someone will chime in with info soon :)

If it is a suck through carb application I reckon you can just use the normal type pump, making sure you have enough pressure/volume available to maintain fuel pressure under full acceleration.

Yeah if its suck through you'll be ok with something like a Holley (blue) etc.

I ran a Facet red top when my engine was running carbs on a suck-through turbo system :)
