Is there anything special about SD1 heads as opposed to Range Rover 3.5 injection heads.

RR injection heads will have the higher flowing wasted stem valves but only the SD1 vitese has them. The injection heads have a small slot in the top of the inlet runner as well so the fuel spray has more room. Its really as much as makes no diff but will be worth a couple of BHP. Of course you could put the efi valves in the older heads, quick round file to the inlet and they would be the same.
