Rover V8/Chevrolet lifters.

I’ve been reading lots of horror stories recently about the terrible quality of RV8 lifters and was wondering if Chevy ones are having the same problems?
I ask because it seems the Rover pushrod seats can be installed in Chevy lifters so assuming my seats are useable, this could be a way to get a decent set that will last.
