So I need a set of gauges for my TR6 and note loads of tempting (very) cheap gauges that look on paper attractive. Has anyone any experience of these, presumably made in China / India gauges?

I bought mine from ETB and been very happy with them

They do the matching senders so the readings appear accurate.

Thought you could still buy the originals at a reasonable price? Been copied?

Originals are mechanical so I sold mine.

Yes, you can get UK made Smiths and orhers but a full set is around £800 plus for these and other similar. The cheap ones are circa £200.

The problem is I quite like some of the dial faces on the cheap ones but not sure on risking it.

What we really need is a small OLED TV screen to fit and you could have anything you liked. :D

Saw just that on a recent Car SOS episode on a Lotus Esprit, was very effective and looked even better on the Mustang which the supplier also showed.
