hiya all,

Just had my injectors cleaned and flowed after some running problems

they are flapper type and rated 185cc/min @ 43.5psi....

Bosch items 280 150 105.

The best they can do is

173cc/min lowest reading
202cc/min highest reading.

Works out at 14.3% difference between them.

Are these still ok to use...and how much difference will the error make.

Thats quite a big difference...

On a n/a engine that runs quite rich, you should be safe enough. But hard to say really... Ideally you'd like them to be within 2-3% of each other.

hello all,

Well its running again, a bit lumpy but still otherwise running good.

And i think its running rich but its hard to tell without the proper equipment.

The hardcastle book about v8s says that its normal to have a 15% difference between standard injectors.

So i can only think mine are normal.

Hopefully when the weather is better i plan to take it down to V8D who can supply a matched set for same price as recond ones, and i can get my car set up correctly at the same time.

Thanks for your help

with injectors with such a huge variation, I think it would be impossible to tell if its really rich or not. Some cylinders might be fine, some might be rich....or weak.

Just dont load it up too much until you can get it looked at, just to be on the safe side.
