Dear community,

I am Simon from Austria.
Since 2 years i did a rolling restoration on my 1976 LHD Rover P6 3500S.
This winter i removed the tired 3.5, and with the help of RPI i actually build up a 4.8 for my baby.

The engine won't be a race engine, it will be completed with 4.6 heads, HS8 carbs on a SD1 airbox, 3.5 manifolds and piper 270 cam to give great midrange torque for the mountain roads in Tyrol.

While rebuilding i hope i can find answers to questions a lot of people asked before in this forum,
and find a good LT77 with all the parts for my converison

Best regards
Simon

Very nice car. It'll be a great drive with that engine build. I had similar in my Land Rover - very torquey.

Chris.

Dear guys,

thanks for the warm welcome.
I do not have a lot of photos of the car right now. I drove it a few days last year, more bad than good and started a rebuild.
Although it looks quite good on the outside of this picture, there is still a lot of work to do, and i have to renew the whole interior.

I had a MGB GT before, but i have two little boys now and i wanted to share my passion with the whole family.
That's why the P6 came up.

Here are some more pics:
