Hi,

Dead simple question . Can anyone tell me what type of connector this is? Is it just an ordinary automotive bullet connector?

It's to convert the temperature gauge in my TVR to use the rover temperature sensor instead of the TVR sensor, which is in a really naff location. It's a Landrover one I think, and it looks like a spark plug connector.

First, are you certain the electrical characteristics of the sensor are correct for your gauge? Where are you fitting it? The SD1 gauge sensors have a spade connector. But there is more than one for that.

They aren't -- but a common modification is to fit a resistor in series to find a centre point.

Cheers for the replies.
