I must admit if I had the readies this baby would be coming home. I think they made around 380bhp@8500 but i'm sure someone will put me right. They ran low 12's from the factory so 10's would be possibility in my 700kg datsun I think. Ho hum, i'm sure another will come along when I have the cash (yeah right).

To run any Ferrari you need the cash to buy and then the cash to run. Most times the second amount is the greater.

Just think if you needed new pistons??? Second mortgage minimum :cry: :cry: :cry:

about 6 years ago I was thinking of doing a p6 replica with a ferrari v12 in it... was quoted by all who had dealings with them to budget £500 to £750 per pot if you needed to rebuild, that was with the old three valve head engine and for them a simple engine. That thing has variable valve timing and very fancy fuel injection and I think 5 valves per pot very very scary!!!!
If you fancy a quad cam v8 the cadillac northstar or lexus engines are much better risk. and very cheep in comparison. no cute red valve covers though.
