Wiring for uprade from 35DE8 to 35DLM8

Hello everyone its me again back for a little bit more help,
im upgrading from a 35DE8 to 35DLM8,anybody know how easy it is,
im assuming its just wiring,anybody got any diagrams that would help,im guessing i will need to get rid of the ballast resistor i got at the moment

I have just replaced my points dizzy with a 35DLM8, heres what I did:
12v coil with no ballast resistor. Then run connected the 2 terminals from the amp to the pos & neg on the coil. The connector parallel to the dizzy body is pos and the one at 90 degrees is neg.

thank you that seems simple enough,
is my ACCEL YELLOW SUPER COIL 140001 12 volt,i know when using it with points u need to use a resistor but what about with this disy

As far as I am aware ballast resitors should only be used with 9v coils, if you coill is 12v then you should be OK.

excellent,that makes my life easier,
one last question now,on my ballast resistor on the car it has three wires going to it,as i will only putting two to the coil whats the third one,

i figured it out,the third wire goes to the starter motor,which i had disconnected at the starter a long time ago anyway,

Mine has a 35DLM8 using an amplifier module with the mini-timer style connector rather than spade terminals. The connector supports three terminals but only two are actually wired up, and these go to the coil +ve and -ve as pointed out earlier. The coil -ve is also wired up to the ECU trigger wire and the tacho input.
