I use boxed Blaupunkt GTO 6x9's in the back of my 90. Good full sound and in properly sealed boxes, really good bass too.
Not sure how much because I got mine in a deal with an amp and sub, but look here:

www.caraudiodirect.co.uk

Good deals and good service.

Speakers.....

Forsooth! Should not the note of a V8 be the only music to our ears?

They're extra weight and slow you down but if you adopt one of my cunning plans; you buy a trailer and bolt these babies to it ......

Image

chuck in a couple of 1500W stadium amps and you'll have two volume settings

(1) Windows up!
(2) Windows down!

and you'll be able to detach the trailer for runs at the Pod!

Sorted :D :D :D

PS you'll need a bigger alternator!

Gav

Not being funny but have you looked at te Fiat Punto from about 52 plate?

They came out with a bass booster 100W RMS speaker in the boot

and it sat nice and neatlyup against the left wing (about 2 - 2.5 inches deep so should fit a Capri - perhaps 2 for overkill

And knowing how shitty the fiat Punto handles there will beplenty in the breakers yards

i got pioneer 200w 6x9 4ways in the shelf, and kenwood 90w speakers for a seat ibiza (k reg) rear fittment, these fit the capri door cards and you can fit the factory ford speaker covers back on to look stock.

And given the sort of muppets that often drive them. (Little Oikes in white vests and baseball caps)
