Can someone please tell me the bolt diameter and thread please, are they 7/16UNF? The 6 that hold the fly/flex onto the crank.

I use ARP bolts from Real Steel Tom.... Make sure you order Flex plate bolts though as the flywheel bolts are a different length.. That was my first mistake yonks ago :)

And cap heads! Hoping I wont get trouble with the flex plate, seen several results on Google of them breaking, do you think its more high mileage or high power (torque or revs) that kills them?

Hi
It is high mileage/old age then hitting them with high revs, basically they work harden get surface cracks and then you seriously stress them and bang.

Mine lasted from 2006 until last summer with racing only and no road use.
The ARP's are still fine :)

Cryo could help that too, if it makes the steel more ductile
