Hi guys, does anyone know Of a decent company in the UK that work with American v8's??
Basically I have a 350 Chevy and a mustang t45 box and want to put the 2 together! I haven't got a flywheel or anything at the moment, so unsure if it would be easier to get a mustang flywheel and clutch setup and have the flywheel re-drilled for the Chevy crank or adaptedin some way, or get a straight bolt on cChevy fly and try to get a clutch made for the job?? Two companies I have spoken to said they can do it but there is sooooo much info they want I don't understand what they are saying! Bolt patterns, plate thickness, splinters diameter, blah blah blah (there was alto more than just the basics I listed there! Lol)

Cheers
Jono

Hi
Can't you just get a chevy flywheel and pressure plate and a friction plate with the right splines for the T45 box, I don't see any need for re drilling anything.
Best regards
Mike

If the usual engine companies (Real Steel etc) don't do it, then Rakeway might. They primarily do parts and machining for off-road racers but they also do a lot of transmission stuff and I know they modify flywheels and mate exotic engines to random gearboxes etc. Worth giving them a call (never actually bought that much from them, but always had plenty of advice over the phone).
