Since my TVR is in pieces I bought a Lotus Elise. Can I be forgiven?
In my defence, it's a birthday present for the wife. (so I get to drive the TVR more when it's finished)

you're on the Isle of White, if you bought another V8 that would be two cars that never got into a gear higher than second. At least the Elsie might get into third once or twice a week.

Well the solution is right there in the photo, take the engine out of the Jag and transverse mount it in the Elsie, but you still won't get out of second. . . .
