Bill, Corky Bell has written a book on TC and a book on SC. Both are excellant and I would recommend. Also try Turbochargers: Theory, Installation, Maintenance and Repair by Todd Curless. I have others on the subject too, but these are the best imo. Mike from boosted would be able to better advise you i'm sure.

Hate to disagree, but the Corky bell book is a bag of sh*te. Lots of car pron but not a good book to help you design a boosted setup. Much better is the Alexander G Bell book. http://www.amazon.com/Induction-Perform ... 187&sr=8-1. This does have more sums in it, but you need to do calculations when you are designing a setup and this has them.

I also like the old books by the masters such as Ricardo, Heywood and Taylor, but they are a bit chewy and academic by any standard.

Much of the grapeape website is rip offs of old Vizard articles. So whilst there are issues with their scruples, the content is generally first rate.
