Lambda cable.

I am making up a new wiring loom for the Hotwire EFI system.
Where can I get the screened cable for the lambda sensors?
Why does it have to be screened?
Can I use single core screened 16/0.2 audio cable?

Hi
it needs to be screened because the signal passes through a high noise environment and the run is relatively long.
Screened twin audio cable will be fine provided the plastic insulation is heat resistant enough.

How many wires do the sensors have ?
Technically there is only 1 signal wire, so if you really thought it must be screened, then that would be the only one.
Cant say Ive seen many engines OEM or otherwise where screening the Lambda signal is common practice though. But it would do no harm, and ensure the screen is grounded properly, and only at one end otherwise it is pointless.
