That's going to end in tears. Those big wheels are good for traction and digging in, and if it happens while he is sideways and hits a rock or furrow, he will roll that thing over and his backyard welded cage is only there to keep the snow and rain out, not save him from a roll over.
Still bloody good fun, though!!!

I'd like a go at that one.

Do you think it can go in a straight line?

I'm sure it can. He is playing around with differential braking and taking advantage of the effects of having a wheel break free and spin up when he turns.
Tractors have separate brake pedals that can be locked together to brake both wheels or separated to allow separate braking depending which pedal you jump on.
My concern is, as you can see in the video, sometimes while he is making donuts on the tarmac he goes off the edge and the inner wheel lifts slightly. It's almost inevitable as he gets more comfortable that he will overcook it and turn the plot over on himself.
Until then, he is having a ball. I have always wanted to do something silly like that, but I would get hold of an old Massey-Ferguson 35 and pop a RV8 (what else?) into it..... like this beauty...

That's nice. Not sure how it would go down at the local tractor club - they still use shotgun cartridges to start theirs
