What efi fuel pump should i get? I need it to be future proof and be able to cope with 500 raging nags. I was looking at 044's but they alot of money at £150 ish + fittings so is there an alternative that will be a direct replacement for my 2.8 capri jobbie? That being large push on fitting at the intake side and small push on fitting on the outlet side.
Regards
Gav

I have heard the Walbro items are pretty good
http://search.ebay.co.uk/fuel-pump-walb ... ameZRC0021
Or you could fit 2 pumps to wrk in tandem to get the flow rate increased
But you may need to enlarge the bore of your fuel lines to take the extra flow
Cheers

Walbro GSS392 would be the inline version.
Or a Bosch 909 is well up ther with an 044, but a lot cheaper.
It has 12mm push on feed, with a M12 outlet ( as per most Bosch pumps )
Not sure what outlet the in-line Walbro has. The feed will be a regular push on though. Good possibility the oultlet could be push on too.
Both very good pumps, although the Bosch will cope up to 7 bar, whereas the Walbro will start to drop off after 6 bar.
Not an issue for a n/a car though.

I will eventually be using a supercharger with mine, will it cope with this?

I have seen both the 909 and Walbro used on Subarus making over 500bhp.
