I've just finished putting a new V8 in my Range Rover and I've got 1 wire left that I can't remember where it conected to. It's a single green wire coming from the amplifier on the side of the distributor and it has a large eyelet on end. Anybody help me out, I'm dying to fire it up!!

On closer inspection it actually goes to a spade terminal just above the amp, here's a pic:-
Any ideas??

Hi Andy,
Nice to see you've got it in

the wire isn't for the oil pressure gauge to the left of the front cover or temp sensor?

Hi Andy,
That terminal is for an earth connection, (not always used) ,but the wire colour is normally black.

Royston,
I thought that when I first saw it as it's the same type of connector but the oil pressure sender wire is built into the loom, this is a single wire.
I'll try earthing it and seeing what happens. Thanks for suggestions.
