I've scuffed up my n/s wheels so need to get them resprayed however due to them having a cut rim i can't have that repaired so it'd need to be a complete respray.
What colour?

Is this just for the visible alloy/silver or the whole wheel complete with spokes?
I like the gold as is

The whole wheel. I luuuuuurve the gold too but the scuffing looks awful!
There is another option and that is to get two new ones but 15 or 16x8 and see if i can squeeze them on the rears for some bigger tyres but thats another £450 ish which i don't want to spend. At present they're 15x7.

Polished outer rims, graphite grey metallic inners... not too dark, lighter than gunmetal sorta thing...

Polishing the outers isn't an option as the scuffing is too deep and i can't get them recut as it would weaken them too much

It would have to be one complete colour for them sadly.

I go with Alley Cats suggestion.

Shame... how about an bright icy silver metallic/pearl on the outside, over white basecoat, should be nice & bright fer contrast.
Or: body-colour centre section, with either silver or lite gold outers. Makes the wheels very specific to yr car though (thinking future resale of wheels, swaps etc).
Black would tie in the bumper, spoiler etc, might work with silver rims and the shiny centre caps to break it up.

get the scuffs welded up and polish them back to original size.

Is that possible without buggering them up somehow?

yes its possible so long as the welder knows what he is doing. Anyway its not like your welding a bit back on all your doing is filling scratches.

My vote is for a continuation of the gold theme as it offsets the 'brown'

I'd keep em gold too. Not too deep a gold though. I think they suit the car nicely actually.

Yup i'm leaning towards that too. I spoke to someone at minilite (a capri owner sympathetic to my cause!) who said he'd do two cheap for me at £110 each + vat! I might well go that route. I'll at least then have a spare to go in the boot!

With the body colour, Gold would work for me anyday.
