Does anyone know the correct thread size of the ports on the SD1 oil pump base/cover?

Im just trying to get a adaptor for the Smiths capillary oil pressure gauge.

It look like the port on the old base had split (see previous thread) because somone?

had used a tapered thread adaptor

It's 1/2" UNF, but I have run a 1/4BSPP tap down mine so oil gauge fittings go in easily. The 1/4" BSPP is just a touch bigger than the UNF so it is no great drama to do.
