Hi guys, the cappa has burst a heater hose,
and im not sure if its a capri hose or sd1 hose,

they are both like a stretched letter s if thay makes any sense?

any one got any pics of the back of there v8 in an sd1 think it would of been a carb layout if it made any difference,
and if so can you measure from the center line of the heater outlet to the center line of the inlet manifold outlet, i can then measure mine and see if its an sd1 hose set up on the rear of the engine in my cappa.

Get yourself 5 by 90 degree silicone bends and 2 straight copper pipes cut to the right length.

A bundle of jubilee clips and you are good to go

And if ever either fails again you gave a spare as everything is done solely in the 90 degree bends

i would rather save the money and have some made in silicone mate, less joints less risk of leaks :(

From memory they look like Range Rover classic heater hoses, I could be wrong however!

Custom hoses arent that dear really. The price is mostly in making the former.

Which I guess you could maybe do yourself if you had some pipe and could weld ?

I had Roose make one for me a few years ago, also heater hose from heater box to above the engine where they have 2 90deg bends.
