This wkend I have mostly been . . .

. . . respraying my car! Well, doing a complete strip down of the interior and engine bay back to bear metal to be more specific! (pics to follow later).
Well, I had no plans for this weekend, everyone was going away, and I needed something to do. It started on thurs night with me making a 'clean' patch on the chassis to see what state it was in . . . quite good by all accounts.
And you know what its like, you make a clean spot, and it just looks out of place, so you have to do the rest lol!
Good thing though - must have removed about 2kg (no poop!) of crud and stuff from the engine bay. All it took was a kitchen knife (yes, the best thing for it!), angle grinder, sand paper, four cans of spray paint and my time. I have to say it looks pretty bloody good for a done-in-a-dusty-garage-with-a-brew-on-the-go-all-the-time job!
Sorry just had to post as I'm made up with the results - well I couldn't have a nice shiney engine in a dirty engine bay lol!
