Getting any parts is always some progress. Still any thoughts as to why the liners dropped in the first place ?

The machinest recons they were never pushed fully home when. V8d had the block originally done 6yrs ago.
They have heard of a couple of liners move but all 8 sounds like an installation issue.
I asked if they will move again he said very very unlikely as they. May now of settled In the correct place.

well nothing is never easy lol,
decided to mock the charger up to make sure everything fitted ok,
and the charger fouls the rocker cover now, as in you cant bolt it in place,
the charger needs moving sideways about an inch to give clearance as per stock rover heads,
where can I get some 6.5mm ally from 250x350mm, or who could cut the whole thing out for me?

Give Ralph85 a shout, although havent seen him on the forum for a while
http://www.componentengineering.co.uk/
waterjet etc is his thing.
Depending on other brackets etc...with one that tin I'd probably prefer it to be in steel or stainless for strength, so less chance of flex etc.
With time/patience you could cut it out yourself....but a proper water-jetted piece is so much nicer ( and easier lol )

it bolts to a bracket mate its mainly there to hide the bolts behind and to hold the front of the charger, theres also a bolt fixing on the rear of the charger that bolts to the same bracketry to stop flex, this too needs moving over an inch to line back up ,

Give Ralph an email, he'll sort you out.
Still shows here, but as said, havent seen him about here for ages. Last I got work from him was a few months ago, think he's just been busy with other things than internets though, you'll get his email via the weblink I posted.
