Hi Dave,

I guess they mean, one thread showing on the fitting. I must admit i done mine up by 'feel' and have been on there way over a year with no leaks !!

The thread gets covered so you can't see it early on. I'd guess feel will just have to do. :D

Normal advice for the gap seems to be about 1/32 inch or less but the important thing is not to close the gap between the nut and body completely so that you do not over strain the thread.
