Simple question though, can you plumb the bottom of an expansion tank into the rear heater outlet of a eddy performer manifold? ( running eddy 1404 and manfiold.)

i was going to block it off as no heater and was going to just run my rad with an expansion bottle coming off a 2 way rad cap with no pressurised expansion tank.

BUT!!

coming to connect my top hose i realised i have no way of bleeding the air and filling it without an expansion bottle with a bleed hose and bottom hose. Just like has been said in this thread.

So i'am going with the nipple and hose from my top hose to an expansion tank on my firwall, and it would be very handy if i can just plumb the bottom hose back into the rear of the manifold??????????

thanks guys.
(ps top hat, love the blower  !!!!!) :o
A novel idea but for the following reason it may not work.

When the thermostat is closed there will be a pressurised flow from the rear outlet on the manifold. So, It is likely that the header tank will fill up and over flow if the engine revs are raised above idle.
Once the thermostat is open pressurised flow will be less but still may over fill the header tank.

DONT BUY IT!!!

I bought one and sent it straight back! I think you would get a bigger tank by using a red bull can!
