In light of the last two comments i'm guessing a 9.35:1 c/rwould be good? The m112 is the blower i'll use, i can'tafford anything else so i need to build the engine around that.
Im planning on running a Vortech Centrifugal supercharger to cut down on heat, w/ a 9:1 compression(not by choice, its what I have to work with)

A 9.35:1 engine running at 8 Psi will have an effective compression of
around 14.5 .. 12 psi will be 17:1

I'd not go over 16 on pump gas(93 octane here) and thats with a good tune.. It all comes down to how well tuned the engine is.

What does everyone reccomend then?

I've been measuring this up in the engine bay and with a little inner wing bashage going on it should be do able, very snug but do-able!

Does anyone have any ideas on what i can do for a blower bypass for light throttle/cruise situations?

Blower bypass?
Don't you stick the swiverly pate in the tube (throttle) up stream of the supercharger then you don't need a "blower bypass"
