is Pin 39 the one that also does the vacuum over run cutout ? ... or is that the early engines only ... i threw mine away years ago so i can't remember which wire it was now .

According to my TVR Griffiths (hotwire) manual wiring diagram it only goes to the coil's 12v -ve treminal. There is no other connection. Also when I stripped down my loom this was the only connevtion I had in my loom. PM me if you want my EFI loom / ECU details - I also have the LandRover ECU test manual.
