Mike,

Thanks for that very comprehensive reply, I'm starting to get the hang of this now and did some more research this afternoon, started looking very hard at the Crower 50232 it seems to have just about all you have suggested.

Crower Spec.
Lift In. .488 Ex. .490

Duration
In. 214 Ex. 218 @ 0.5

Lobe seperation 112 degrees.

I'd noted that other members on this board have used this cam on smaller engines but was not sure it would be suitable, looks about perfect, what do you think?

Mike,

I'll order one up tomorrow, and check out whats available re the rockers, don't paticularly want to go to the expence of roller rockers for a max 6000RPM engine if I can avoid it.

I'm using a Crane 218 on my 4.6 with worked 300 heads, YT rollers, Edelbrock Performer and MSD6. Idles down to 600 rpm with very strong mid range torque on 1190 kg car. I think V8 Developments had some dyno sheets on their site with this cam in a 4.6.

Rob,

Thanks but I've already got the Crower 50232 which looks good for the engine spec I have and have heard good reports, will report further once it's up and running.
