can some clear up if you can use any of the above housings with the take off pipe,
on an efi manifold that dont use a take off?

Took me a moment to work out what you were saying, but it's that time of the day for me!

Good question and I wondered about the compatability of the MGBV8 one that I suggested and assuming the bolt holes match up the only way to see would perhaps buy a gasket for the one I have and offer it up to your manifold.

V8 conversions have them and he could stick one in the post for you.

Clearly if the hole in the cover mates with a solid bit of the casting you should not have a problem.

BUT if i buy the housing and it dont work its something i could of done not spending the money on and spent it on getting one made

I suggested you just buy the gasket which has the exra hole in it.

Actually as an afterthought as long as the stat part of the cover seals to the manifold the by pass section will be irrelevant if I've got my head on straight
