Pulled the valve cover and checked for movement of the rockers - all tight, no movement. I’m going to do the compression tests again, with full throttle and all the plugs out.
Runs quite with the belt off. Still a tiny wobble on the crankshaft pulley.
I shot a quick video with the cover off.

It's a bit difficult to tell from the video but are the valves for cylinder 1 moving as much as the others?
Cylinder 5 seems to have more movement, I can't really tell for cylinder 3.

Yes you're right not easy to see. #1 doesn't seem to move any slower. I was away this week, but I'll take another look over the weekend.

Well I'm thinking more about how much than how fast, that's what will control how much charge you get into the cylinder.
