From memory, the Lucas ignition amp module is allegedly more reliable than the Intermotor 15210, but i suppose finding a genuine Lucas unit will be impossible.

I've tried my local parts place for the Bosch coil with no luck.
Are there web based sources?

Unfortunatly it's been many years since I had to buy anything like that, any Bosch distributer should know the coil, if not that should look for another item to stock, the most memorable thing it was listed against was a VW beetle. Failing that the next best bet is something like a blaster 2 coil, slightly less competent but easier to find. Or if you want to go all out the Big Yellow Accell coil, I like the yellow coil as it is pretty much compatible with all ignition systems. there may well be some good alternitives out there but those would be the three I would look for 1: Bosch Blue, 2: Large Accell Yellow, 3: MSD Blaster. The blaster 2 has the tower to reduce misfire so worth looking for that one.
Yes it's a Porsche and yes, it should sound like that!
